21st Annual Employment Law Update

Come and join us for this enlightening program on Employment Law. This year's program will again feature the federal judges' panel, providing a view from the bench on employment litigation. Issues facing your practice today are also covered, including a rapid-fire Hot Topics panel discussing developments at the NLRB, gender discrimination, workplace violence, medical marijuana and the workplace, the ACA, retaliation and whistleblower protection, and immigration.

The Director of the UAB Secure and Trustworthy Computing Lab will be with us to explain how to protect yourself and your clients by understanding digital forensics. A panel of plaintiff and defendant attorneys will explain technology traps in employment litigation, including requesting and resisting disclosure of electronic information and using e-Discovery at trial.

This program provides 6.0 hours of CLE credit, including 1.0 hour of ethics credit.

Check-in on the day of the seminar will be from 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. The program will commence at 8:30 a.m. and adjourn at 4:00 p.m.
