This seminar is co-sponsored with the Health Law Section of the Alabama State Bar. The program offers a chance to learn about critical issues in health law from nationally recognized experts in the field, and is designed especially for attorneys and health care professionals.

Topics to be discussed include physician-hospital post-integration issues, bundled payments, health care fraud and enforcement after the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Medicaid and moving to managed care through regional care organizations, telemedicine, current issues and the impact of the ACA, and an Alabama update on Certificate of Need statutory reform and Alabama and Case.

Program provides 6 hours of CLE credit, including 1 hour of ethics credit. 6 hours are recognized by the Alabama Board of Nursing; approved for 6 hours of NHA credit.

Check-in on the day of the seminar will be from 8:00AM to 8:30AM. The program will commence at 8:30AM and adjourn at 4:00PM.
