Developments and Trends in Health Care Law 2013


This seminar, "Developments and Trends in Health Care Law 2013", is co-sponsored with the Health Law Section of the Alabama State Bar. The program offers a chance to learn about critical issues in health law from nationally recognized experts in the field, and is designed especially for attorneys and health care professionals.

Some of the topics covered are: Current Unsustainable Healthcare Spending, How to Prepare for the Delivery Models of the Future, Dealing with Change and the Regulatory Minefield, Legislative Updates, SHPDA Update, Changes in Alabama Medicaid and RCOs, What the Long-awaited HIPPA/HITECH Omnibus Rule Means to You, and Legal Ethics and Exposure.

CLE credit includes 1 hour of ethics credit. 6 hours are recognized by the Alabama Board of Nursing, approved for 6 hours of NHA credit.

Check-in on the day of the seminar will be from 8:00AM to 8:30AM. The program will commence at 8:30AM and adjourn at 4:15PM.
