Essential Lawyering Tools: Problem Solving to Settle Cases

This seminar is presented by the Cumberland School of Law and the ADR section of the Birmingham Bar Association.

The program will address mediation in litigation, resolution skills for the civil family law practitioner and keeping your case out of court. Topics also covered are duties regarding settlement options and the part ethics plays in this process, and arbitration as a binding alternative to litigation. Judges' panels inhance your learning experience by lending their expertise and knowledge to the program's topics.

The program provides 4 hours of CLE credit, including 1 hour of ethics credit.

Check-in on the day of the seminar will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The program will commence at 1:00 p.m. and adjourn at 5:10 p.m.
