Combating Obstructionism at Deposition / Attacking "I Don't Know" and "I Don't Remember"

This entertaining seminar will identify and analyze the many dodges that witnesses attempt in a deposition and consider the best way to attack them. Packed with practical tips and great true-life examples, this presentation will be one of the most effective and useful courses you will attend in your litigation career.

Using actual video clips of a high profile witness in high stakes interviews, our faculty presenter will illustrate the techniques used to avoid questions and indicate where the questioners failed to recognize and counter deft question dodging. You will learn to improve your cross-examination skills for dealing with "I don't remember", countering a witness' silent or narrow interpretation of a question, exploiting a witness' word choices and much more.

Experienced litigators should attend this course to improve their deposition skills. "Newbies" can take advantage of this opportunity to discover the right approach to adverse depositions early in their litigation careers.
